Day-by-day: Reparenting yourself with fun, discipline, love and hope.

Introduction
If you grew up in survival mode—dodging emotional landmines, rationing attention, hustling for scraps of love—then the idea of abundance can feel like a lie. Even when you try to think positively or speak affirmations, it might feel hollow. That’s because mindset alone isn’t enough when your body and energy are still wired for scarcity.
To truly shift from scarcity to abundance, you have to go deeper—into the realm of energetics. This doesn’t mean you need to become spiritual or mystical. It just means recognizing that your energy—your posture, breath, nervous system, tone, presence—is sending signals every second of the day. And until you shift those signals, your world will keep reflecting scarcity back to you.
Understanding energetics is a core pillar of reparenting. It’s how we rewire not just how we think—but how we feel, move, and receive.
What Are Energetics, Really?
Energetics refers to the subtle, often subconscious, signals that your body and nervous system emit. It’s your felt presence. The tone of your voice. The openness (or tightness) in your chest. The grounding in your feet. It’s how your body speaks before your mouth does.
Energetics isn’t woo-woo. It’s biological. If your nervous system is stuck in a fight, flight, freeze, or fawn state, your body literally projects contraction, vigilance, fear, or appeasement. If you’ve lived in trauma long enough, this becomes your default energy signature—even when you're safe.
The problem is: energy attracts energy. If you’re stuck in scarcity energetics, you’ll keep attracting experiences, people, and dynamics that match that state.
Scarcity Energy vs. Abundance Energy
Let’s look at the difference:
Scarcity Energy | Abundance Energy |
Shallow breathing | Deep, regulated breath |
Slumped or closed posture | Open, grounded body language |
Over-apologizing, over-explaining | Clear, calm boundaries |
Speaking quickly or nervously | Speaking slowly, from your belly |
Hustling to prove your worth | Trusting that your presence is enough |
Distrust of rest or ease | Letting things come to you |
You can’t just think your way into abundance. You have to train your system to feel safe, grounded, and open to receiving.
Why This Matters in Reparenting
If your inner child was constantly told “don’t ask for too much,” or “you’re a burden,” or if love was conditional on performance, then your body learned:
“If I’m not doing, I’m not deserving.”
That’s the core of scarcity.Energetics lets you reparent your body out of that state—so your inner child learns, I can be soft. I can rest. I can receive.
This isn’t just about money or success. This is about your identity. About trusting that you don’t have to beg for crumbs. You are worthy of the whole damn table.
How to Shift Your Energetics Toward Abundance
1. Regulate Your Nervous System
Abundance begins with safety. If your body doesn't feel safe, no amount of positive thinking will stick.
Try vagus nerve exercises (humming, gargling, cold water splashes)
Practice box breathing (inhale 4, hold 4, exhale 4, hold 4)
Use somatic grounding: press your feet into the floor, stretch slowly
2. Body Language Rewiring
Walk through your day like someone who already belongs. Shoulders back. Eyes open. Take up space. Let your body signal: I trust there’s enough.
3. Energetic Boundaries
Scarcity makes you say yes to everything—even what drains you—because you fear the alternative is having nothing.
Abundance begins with saying no and trusting that aligned opportunities will come. Start with small no's and build from there.
4. Sensory Pleasure and Slowness
Let yourself experience non-productive joy:
Sip tea slowly
Feel warmth on your skin
Listen to music and move gently
These practices say: “I don’t have to earn peace. I allow it.”
5. Practice Receiving
If someone compliments you, don’t deflect. Say thank you and breathe it in.If someone offers help, accept it.These are energetic shifts in allowing flow—not just effort—to support you.
Affirmations to Anchor Abundant Energy
I am safe to receive.
My presence is enough.
I am open to love, rest, and support.
I trust in the flow of life.
I no longer perform for crumbs—I sit at the full table.
My body is learning that abundance is safe.
Conclusion
The journey from scarcity to abundance isn’t just mindset—it’s energetic reparenting. It’s learning how to soften, receive, and root into the truth that you are enough. You always were. You were just taught to brace, to shrink, to survive.
But surviving isn’t your only option anymore.
You get to exhale. You get to open your hands. You get to take your seat at the table of life—not as a beggar, but as a being who finally remembers their worth.
