Born in Virginia (USA), I now live in The Netherlands. In 2011 I obtained a BA in Philosophy, Political Science, and Art History. Additionally, I have 3 masters degrees from The University of Lynchburg, Grenoble École de Management, and The University of Amsterdam.

Hi! My name's Khalil, creator of Reparenting Daily. What inspired me to launch this endeavor? Well, after countless therapy sessions and years of struggling to define the core problem, let alone a solution, I became frustrated with the lack of insight gained from my investment into therapy. My own independent research led me to discover reparenting about 4 years ago. So now I've decided to launch this project to support those starting the reparenting journey, but who are unsure where to start and how to approach it!
After the long journey to discover reparenting as a solution to CPTSD, I want to ensure others are able to find this information ASAP - so that they can avoid waisting time, money, and precious years of their life...​​

The tradition of bonsai is a meticulous and artful practice that requires patience, nurturing, and continuous care—qualities that are also fundamental to the reparenting process. Just as a bonsai tree is carefully cultivated over time to achieve its unique beauty and strength, reparenting involves nurturing your inner child, providing the love, attention, and support that may have been lacking in your early years.
Selecting the bonsai as our emblem reflects our belief that true transformation doesn't happen overnight. It is a gradual and deliberate process, marked by consistent effort and dedication. Each pruning, each new branch is a step toward creating a resilient and harmonious self. Similarly, reparenting involves small, intentional actions that contribute to healing past wounds and fostering emotional well-being.
Bonsai trees also symbolize harmony, balance, and patience—core principles of reparenting. As you engage in reparenting practices, you cultivate a balanced inner world, harmonizing the different parts of yourself. Patience is essential, both with yourself and with the process, as deep-seated changes take time.
